Helping Others is the giving program behind Helping Companies. For every part time or full time professional placed with a client, we sponsor a child through Compassion International, and the client becomes that child's correspondent.

Helping Companies funds the sponsorship. The client carries no financial commitment
You are named as the child's designated correspondent and write to them directly

At Helping Companies, giving back to the community is more than a commitment. It is the cornerstone of who we are. We believe success is not measured solely by the growth of businesses, but by the positive impact we have on the lives of those around us. When we uplift others, we all rise together.
Where this comes from
Helping Companies was founded on faith, compassion and service. Helping Others is the program that puts those values into practice, so that helping communities thrive becomes part of the work rather than something separate from it.
Our mission goes beyond staffing construction offices. It is rooted in a commitment to giving back and making a meaningful difference, which is what led to our partnership with Compassion International. Every client who chooses Helping Companies receives the support they came for and contributes to a broader purpose: supporting children in need worldwide.

Our partner
Compassion International is a child sponsorship organization working to release children from poverty through local partners around the world. Sponsorship gives a child consistent care: education, healthcare, and emotional and spiritual guidance.

The program runs alongside the placement itself. Nothing about the recruiting, the screening or the hiring decision changes.
STEP 01
You bring on a remote construction professional through Helping Companies, part time or full time, using the same recruiting and screening process every placement runs through.
STEP 02
Helping Companies sponsors a child through Compassion International. The sponsorship covers essentials such as education, healthcare, and emotional and spiritual guidance, giving that child a pathway to a better future. We cover the financial side of it in full.
STEP 03
You are named as the child's designated correspondent. That role is a personal one: letters, encouragement and inspiration, and a relationship that grows over time, with no financial commitment attached to it.
The sponsorship is split deliberately. Helping Companies carries the cost. The client carries the relationship, which is the part money on its own cannot provide.

If your question is not answered here, ask it during a consultation. We would rather explain the program properly than have it read as a marketing line.
No. Helping Companies covers the financial side of the sponsorship in full. The client's part of the program is the correspondence, and it carries no financial commitment.
Every part time or full time professional placed through Helping Companies. One placement sponsors one child.
It goes to essentials for the child: education, healthcare, and emotional and spiritual guidance, delivered through Compassion International.
Writing to the child. Letters are how the relationship is built, and they are where encouragement and inspiration reach the child. There is no financial obligation attached to the role.

No. Defining the role, recruiting, screening, interviewing and hiring all run exactly as described on How It Works. Helping Others runs alongside that process rather than altering it.
